Goddard School- Chandler

What a fun and inspiring experience, I love sitting among kids with limited attention spans and trying to lure them into a story that I wrote. It is invigorating when ask questions, tell their own stories and have fun with the experience at hand. On Monday these kids glowing with excitement brought me to why I write in the first place. Not only to get my story and creativity out there, to hope to inspire others, but as a mechanism to portray my inner self. Someone asked me why children's books. I LOVE to read, I think that I have learned a lot over the years just by reading and I think it is important for my son to learn the value of reading and what better way for his mom to contribute then with a series of books for kids. I think I just might be on my way to #2. I have to do a little prepping to get the funds to accomplish this, but now I am ready to start. Thank you to the Goddard School for inviting me to read and share and to Gary Klayman for having me attend his daughter's school. Thank you to the teachers and students for listening! My favorite story/question this experience was the girl who talked about a scorpion for really no related reason! Love those... Still my favorite was the school where the girl asked my favorite kind of pie!!!!!!!!! Read on my friends.
