What a fun and inspiring experience, I love sitting among kids with limited attention spans and trying to lure them into a story that I wrote. It is invigorating when ask questions, tell their own stories and have fun with the experience at hand. On Monday these kids glowing with excitement brought me to why I write in the first place. Not only to get my story and creativity out there, to hope to inspire others, but as a mechanism to portray my inner self.
Someone asked me why children's books. I LOVE to read, I think that I have learned a lot over the years just by reading and I think it is important for my son to learn the value of reading and what better way for his mom to contribute then with a series of books for kids. I think I just might be on my way to #2. I have to do a little prepping to get the funds to accomplish this, but now I am ready to start.

My favorite story/question this experience was the girl who talked about a scorpion for really no related reason! Love those... Still my favorite was the school where the girl asked my favorite kind of pie!!!!!!!!!
